US99 adds 3rd member to the show, plus my White Sox Bullpen practice …

Took a quick day off Tuesday, and I return to an e-mail from New Boss Bill that he wants to chat about “expanding” afternoon drive … turns out US99.5 is adding a 3rd member to the show!

Certainly not what I expected, definitely a surprise!  All the details today @ 4:10pm.

Another fun note, don’t forget about White Sox COUNTRY NIGHT next Tuesday.  Marti Jones & I will broadcast from Gate 3 all afternoon, David Nail is performing on-field, and I get to throw the first pitch.

What a cool surprise to hear from Gary LeVox of Rascal Flatts yesterday – he called me from OPRAH backstage on Michigan Avenue.  His most diva demand?  What song did Oprah *personally* request of the guys?

Today marks the beginning of my afternoon show’s 5th year at US 99.5 … and I owe it all to you.

What a ride over the last four years … concerts, trips, Nashville living room broadcasts, and the ins and outs of all of our families.

Me, myself & I

Just got back from a great Mexican lunch, even better that we were sitting outside … now though, both Jill & Roy have decided to take an afternoon nap.  One of the bonuses of an extra weekend day!

Since it’s just me downstairs, I’ve got Shania Twain “Up!” in the CD player and I’m getting ready for tomorrow’s show …
