** Josh Turner is trending today as he’s branching out from country music. On April 29th, he’ll release his first book, sharing stories from both his life and lessons he’s learned over the years as a son, brother, friend, husband, and father.
It’s called Man Stuff: Thoughts on Faith, Family, and Fatherhood. About the project, Josh told us, “I was raised in a strong Christian family in a tight-knit community in rural South Carolina. I was taught essential life lessons, like the value of a dollar, what hard work feels like, and how important an education is. If all that sounds a little old-fashioned, well, that’s because it is. And I’m okay with that.”
** Dierks Bentley is also trending today after a great show at Joe’s Bar last night. In coordination with his Riser album release this week, he’s also debuted Riser Bird, an online game based on the thunderbird image that represents the album.
“There are so many addicting games about birds right now, and we thought it would be funny to create our own Riser Bird game,” says Bentley. “I’m all about finding interesting ways to get music out to the fans, and this is just supposed to be fun.” You can play at dierks.com
