** George Strait is trending today as he performed the final concert of his touring career Saturday night (June 7) in Arlington, Texas, in front of 104,793 fans!
It’s a new record for an indoor show that had stood since 1981, when the Rolling Stones drew 87,500 fans to the Louisiana Superdome.
George performed for 3 hours, singing 40 songs (including 20 of his 60 #1s)!

As a result of the injury and surgery, he’ll be off tour for an undetermined amount of time, but is expected to fully heal and return to playing guitar following his recovery and rehabilitation.
