SHOCKER! Two of our favorite country artists are going their separate ways.
According to Us Weekly, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert have filed divorced after four years together.
“This is not the future we envisioned,” their representatives told the magazine. “And it is with heavy hearts that we move forward separately. We are real people, with real lives, with real families, friends and colleagues. Therefore, we kindly ask for privacy and compassion concerning this very personal matter.”
Rumors have sparked in the past about the couple having trouble in their relationship, but Miranda and Blake both defended each other through it all, denying any claims.
The two met back in 2005 during CMT’s 100 Greatest Duets Concert.
According to TMZ it was filed in Oklahoma and the pair are working out financial agreements.
