** The new show Parks & Recreation debuts tonight on NBC, right after The Office.  Having Amy Poehler is awesome in itself, but the fact that my father-in-law has been in P&R his entire career … our family can’t WAIT to watch.

LOST, Rascal Flatts and baseball

A few things today:

1)   The new LOST BLOG is now posted online @ US99.com here … great episode last night, plus I am diggin’ all the VW Buses from the ’70s Dharma Initiative!

2)   Mark your calendars – Tuesday, April 7th, all 3 members of Rascal Flatts will join me in-studio!

They’ll be in Chicago to chat about their new CD “Unstoppable,” which comes out that day.  It[s going to be B I G!

3)   Also, I’m on vacation starting tomorrow … the entire Walker family is headed west for a bit of Sox & Cubs & Cardinals spring training baseball.  Roy still hasn’t decided who he’s rooting for.

Wasting time at work

While at work, I think we can all use an extra 5-10 minutes daily, just to re-charge our brains.

Some may call it wasting time.  I call it, well, not working.   To help you meet your daily quota:

** Season 5 of Lost on ABC kicked off Wednesday, and my wife Jill’s Lost Blog 2009 is now online @ my page of US99.com.  You’ll also find the previous seasons’ blogs – everything we Lost addicts need for our weekly fix.

** All Access Week 84 is now posted at US99.com … it highlights all the interviews from last weekend’s Winterfest in St. Charles.  My TMZ conversation with Kellie Pickler, plus Jason Aldean and Jimmy Wayne with L&R.  Perfect for that mid-afternoon non-smoke break.

It feels like a lifetime ago

Lots of new TV shows back on the tube this month, with fresh episodes to boot.  Nip/Tuck debuted last night on F/X, although we’ll catch it tonight on TiVo.  90210 had a fresh episode on the CW, and most other shows are back in the swing.

The biggest anticipation at our house?  The return of Lost on ABC on Wednesday, January 21st at 7pm … my wife Jill writes the Lost Blog each year, and plans another round for 2009.  You can catch up on her *very detailed* musings here.

• I just found out that Brad Paisley will check in tomorrow afternoon after 6pm.  We last spoke to him at Halloween, so hopefully he’ll have some New Year insight for us.
