Today brings the first snowman of the season!

Shortly after lunchtime, the first snowman of the season was born in our backyard.
Moments later, Roy promptly got his baseball bat and demolished it to bits! (but not before we captured the moment on camera)

What about your yard? I’d love to see your photos … share with us above!
Maybe the city can learn from Roy?

Looking out our front window this morning, I asked Roy, “WHERE are we going to put ALL this snow?”
After a deep pause, he declared, “UP IN THE SKY!” Why didn’t we think of that sooner?
What about your kids … any good suggestions? Share above!
Before … and after!

Here’s the back deck at 2pm Tuesday …
… and this is 6:30am Wednesday morning (the fence is 4 feet tall!):

The creation of a snowman is an art form!
My son Roy & I decided to make our first snowman together this morning … first the arms and eyes, then a Chicago Bears hat & scarf.

Here Roy is debating whether the carrot is better used as a snowman nose – or a mid-morning snack!

Success!
