First Time Ever: The Party Patrol Heads To Joe’s Bar!

This is what I see in my basement bar (two of my favorite things), so imagine what we’ll find at Joe’s Bar this Friday night with Miller Lite … it’s our first-ever trip with the Party Patrol!

Even better, it’s “Customer Appreciation Night” with The McClymonts on-stage, so mention that at the door and get in FREE!

Weekend Recap: Ever Meet Your New Boss The Way I Did?

Had a chance encounter with the new boss Friday night … and it FREAKED me OUT!

We’d just kicked off the Miller Lite Party Patrol at The Lodge in Lisle, and I was mingling among bar tables, getting folks to sign up for our Bill Engvall ticket giveaways, chatting hello, talking about the Bears.

I ask a guy & his wife if they’d like to sign up (as I’m approaching them from the back), but when I finally get face-to-face, I think to myself, “Why is he familiar-looking?”

His reply to my sign-up question: “Can’t. I work for CBS Radio.”  *grins*

WHOA!  It’s the new boss … unannounced … at my bar … on a Friday night!    Even crazier, he doesn’t start the new job until December, but lives nearby and wanted to stop in & say hello / see what kind of a party we throw.

Needless to say, a very cool surprise to meet him this way, but still CRAZY, right?

We had a blast on Saturday afternoon …

We hung with our friends from Miller Lite and about 50 listeners … even Gina Ferraro & her husband Brian made it!
