Week 19: 52 Bags in 52 Weeks

This year, Jill & I have resolved to de-clutter our lives, one week (and one bag) at a time.   You can do the same!

Every week, we tackle something else, with the bags leaving the house through recycling, donations to Goodwill, women & children shelters or the trash …

Week 19:   More of Vivian’s 6-12mo clothes (she’s already 16 months old!) have been boxed up, on their way to either donation or sister-in-law Katie’s place … in anticipation of our niece’s arrival this summer!

Also, we made a conscious effort to reduce our plastic bags usage.  Yes, you can recycle all your bags at the grocery store, but why not stop buying them altogether?

Jill bought this reusable snack bag … velcros open & closed … just rinse it out and re-use multiple times, laundry safe too.   (Can you see my corn chips?)

Plus, we did the same with re-usable produce bags for grocery shopping (a bunch of sizes too):

No more plastic bags for all the apples & oranges & tomatoes!   YOU can do the SAME …
