** Lady Antebellum is trending today as they’re set to debut their latest, ‘Bartender,’ on the American Idol finale tomorrow night on Fox, starting at 7.
Charles told Country Aircheck, “I think it’s always cool when you can capture what feels like a fun track where the lyrics are a little darker … it’s definitely a head-bobber.”
** Clay from Zac Brown Band is trending today as he’ll sing the national anthem before the Cubs/Yankees game tonight at Wrigley Field, as well as stopping by the broadcast booth during the 7th inning to chat. Tickets for their September 13th Wrigley show go on sale next month on the 7th.
** Blake Shelton & Tim McGraw are trending today as they’ll be seen together on the season finale of The Voice tonight on NBC. No word on whether they’ll perform together, but we do know that Tim will debut another new track from his forthcoming album. Can’t wait!
** And finally, speaking of stars and new songs, Carrie Underwood will also premiere a new song on tonight’s ACM Presents: An All-Star Salute to the Troops on CBS. She co-wrote “Keep Us Safe” to honor military servicemen and women, and will donate proceeds from the song’s download to ACM Lifting Lives.
The show will also feature performances by Dierks Bentley, Lee Brice, Luke Bryan, Merle Haggard, Hunter Hayes, Toby Keith, Miranda Lambert, George Strait and many more… the whole thing was taped last month in Las Vegas.
