Our quest to de-clutter our lives continues, one week (and one bag) at a time. You can do the same!
Every week, we tackle something else, with the bags leaving the house through recycling, donations to Goodwill, women & children shelters or the trash …
Week 41 (written by Jill):
The kids have LOTS of books and because I sometimes get tired of reading some of them over and over again, I have about half of them in a separate bin … every once in awhile, we rotate the books for variety.
I did the rotation this week and in the process, found a handful of books that were either duplicates or the kids have outgrown. Thus, these ones were given to cousin Mira at her “Books & Booty” shower Saturday afternoon.
In an unrelated project, I found a few outgrown swim trunks and a winter jacket that I gave to my cousin for her 1-year-old. And in yet another project, I went through our sock drawers and pulled out all singletons. I matched up what I could (at least 10 pairs) and threw out the rest (23 individual socks).

Next week: Back to the crawlspace?
