This morning, I got off my Divvy Bike at Millennium Park to discover my keys had fallen out of my pocket. OMG! Van keys, house keys, work, my Divvy key ::: I. Couldn’t. Believe. It.
I walked the entire route back to Union Station, heart racing. Nothing. Nada.
Defeated, I figured I’d rent a new bike and pedal back the same route again [already late to work] and figure out how to call Jill with the bad news.
A half-block away from the bike rack, a truck was parked in the bike lane and as I swerved around it, I saw a metallic flash under the tire. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? COULD IT BE?
Yup, my keys. A half block from Union Station. Unreal.
