Week 10: 52 Bags in 52 Weeks

This year, Jill & I have resolved to de-clutter our lives, one week (and one bag) at a time.   You can do the same!

Every week, we try and tackle something else, with the bags leaving the house through donations to Goodwill, women & children shelters or the trash …

Week 10: Jill went through one of the top shelves in the kitchen cabinets and found out a bunch of new, in-box & never-used kitchen-y things.

Among the items found: a Pampered Chef Food Chopper, a Crystal Brandy set, a lunchbox, Corn on the Cob plates w/ matching holders, a Longaberger pottery flower pot and more.  We boxed it up and it will be going into the raffle prizes collection for Concert For Life 2011.

I also cleaned out our “jam everything in here when we don’t use it anymore” kitchen cabinet shelf.   I pitched a lot of Jill’s old hand-lotion bottles (in various sizes), miscellaneous broken office supplies, and found homes for some pictures that we’d forgotten about.

Now the shelf is clean, organized, and easy to see what’s in there.

Next week, we’re planning to continue in the kitchen with glassware & the liquor cabinet.   How’s your progress?
