Today brings the first snowman of the season!

Shortly after lunchtime, the first snowman of the season was born in our backyard.

Moments later, Roy promptly got his baseball bat and demolished it to bits! (but not before we captured the moment on camera)

SHOCKER: an ELF visited our house this morning!

Woke up this morning and discovered that one of Santa’s elves had decided to move in …

Did this happen at your house too?   Roy named his elf Wocket (as in, “there’s a wocket in my pocket!” from his favorite Dr. Seuss book) … hope he comes back tomorrow morning!

Roy woke up early yesterday morning and summoned us downstairs [quickly] to the back door!  When I got there, THIS was waiting for us …

Roy could barely contain his excitement at “Mr. Squirrel”!  As for the mess that remains, I still have to take care of it.
